Embrace the revolutionary spirit and celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to carry forward the patriotic fervor and indomitable revolutionary spirit of CPC members, the company’s Party branch organized an event themed “Imbued with the Revolutionary Spirit, Celebrating the Centenary of the CPC.” On June 27, 2021, the group visited the Li Dazhao Memorial Hall and his former residence in Lating County, gaining a deeper understanding of Comrade Li Dazhao’s heroic deeds during his lifetime, paying tribute to this great figure, and undergoing a profound spiritual renewal through the revolutionary legacy.

Li Dazhao was born in Dahuaituo Village, Leting County. The former residence displays relics belonging to Li Dazhao, his wife, and their ancestors. During his childhood and after his marriage, he lived here for an extended period. On the east side of the backyard stand two side rooms and a shed; the side rooms served as storage for grain, and Li Dazhao often studied, practiced calligraphy, and wrote articles there.

Along the memorial hall’s central axis, from south to north, the first sight that greets visitors is a row of eight imposing Pillars of Merit, each commemorating one of Li Dazhao’s eight major achievements. Entering the hall from the front requires ascending 38 steps, symbolizing the 38 years of his revolutionary life.

At the memorial hall, the company’s Party members reaffirmed their oath of admission to the Party, deeply expressing their boundless remembrance and heartfelt nostalgia for the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, while retracing and reflecting on their lofty aspirations and heroic spirit of dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to the country.

At the memorial hall and the former residence, docents guided visitors through a series of precious photographs and historical documents. Party members from the company reflected on the illustrious yet brief life of Comrade Li Dazhao. They studied his exemplary deeds with great care and examined tangible artifacts—photographs, notebooks, letters, and other relics preserved through the passage of time. Each invaluable historical photograph and each unadorned revolutionary relic bears witness to the shining example set by these revolutionary pioneers.

Through visiting and paying homage to the life and deeds of this heroic martyr, all present naturally developed a profound respect for his brief yet immortal revolutionary journey and his outstanding achievements, and were deeply moved by his spirit of selfless dedication—devoting his heart and soul to the great cause of safeguarding the nation’s survival in a China then engulfed in turmoil and suffering.

All Party members who participated in this visit and study session expressed that, through listening, observing, learning, and reflecting during their tour of Li Dazhao’s former residence and memorial hall, they gained a profound understanding that revolutionary victory can only be achieved through bloodshed and sacrifice. They pledged to carry forward the glorious traditions of their predecessors and strive for even greater accomplishments in their respective posts.
