I. Rare-Earth Corrosion-Resistant Steel: Green, Low-Carbon, Highly Efficient—Driving the Upgrading of Steel Materials

The company has pioneered a lanthanum–cerium rare-earth alloying technology, enhancing the corrosion resistance of steel by more than 30% compared with conventional weathering steels. This innovation can replace traditional galvanized aluminum–magnesium processes, thereby reducing pollutant emissions. As a leader in industry standard-setting, the company spearheaded the development of the group standard “Rare-Earth Hot-Rolled Steel Plates and Strips for Highway Guardrails,” promoting the standardized application of corrosion‑resistant steels. II. Weathering Steel for Permafrost Environments: Solving Infrastructure Challenges in Extremely Cold Regions

In response to the extreme climatic challenges of high-altitude permafrost regions, Baigong Steel’s Q355NHE weathering steel exhibits exceptional low-temperature toughness below –40°C, with a ductile–brittle transition temperature as low as –165° to –175°C—far surpassing industry standards. Its surface forms a dense oxide layer, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance and reducing maintenance costs. This product has been successfully deployed in permafrost‑affected infrastructure projects, such as highway bridges and transmission towers, thereby supporting the national “Western Development” strategy.

 

 

III. Thin‑Gauge Low‑Alloy High‑Strength Steel: The Perfect Fusion of Lightweight Design and High Precision

Leveraging high-precision rolling technology, Baigong Steel is able to consistently produce ultra-thin steel sheets ranging from 1.2 to 2.5 mm in thickness, covering grades from Q195 to Q420MC and meeting the demanding requirements of industries such as automotive manufacturing and precision electronics. Its outstanding bendability and stamping performance make it ideally suited for lightweight structural components—including automotive parts, elevator panels, and pressure vessels—thereby helping manufacturers reduce costs and improve efficiency.
