BaiGong Steel's Innovative Breakthrough: Three Core Products Support the Construction of Major National Projects

Baigong Steel, leveraging its strong R&D capabilities and advanced production processes, has successfully launched three core products: rare earth corrosion-resistant steel, cold-region weathering steel, and thin-gauge high-strength low-alloy steel. These are widely used in infrastructure construction, new energy, and transportation engineering, providing high-performance material support for major national projects.

I. Rare Earth Corrosion-Resistant Steel: Green, Low-Carbon, High-Efficiency, Driving Steel Material Upgrades

The company innovatively uses lanthanum-cerium rare earth alloying technology, increasing the corrosion resistance of the steel by more than 30% compared to ordinary weathering steel. It can replace traditional galvanized aluminum-magnesium processes, reducing pollution emissions. As an industry standard setter, the company spearheaded the development of the group standard for "Rare Earth Hot-Rolled Steel Plate and Steel Strip for Highway Guardrails," promoting the standardized application of corrosion-resistant steel. Currently, this product has been used in photovoltaic brackets (such as the Baotou Zhongfu Energy project), wind turbine towers, and 5G communication towers in new energy and municipal engineering fields, becoming a preferred material under the "dual carbon" goals.

II. Cold-Region Weathering Steel: Solving Infrastructure Challenges in Extremely Cold Regions

Addressing the extreme climate challenges of high-altitude permafrost regions, Baigong Steel's developed Q355NHE weathering steel possesses ultra-low temperature toughness below -40℃, with its ductile-brittle transition temperature as low as -165~-175℃, far exceeding industry standards. The steel surface forms a dense oxide layer, significantly improving corrosion resistance and reducing maintenance costs. This product has been successfully applied to highway bridges and transmission towers in permafrost regions, contributing to the national "western development" strategy.

III. Thin-Gauge High-Strength Low-Alloy Steel: The Perfect Combination of Lightweight and High Precision

Relying on high-precision rolling technology, Baigong Steel can stably produce ultra-thin steel plates of 1.2-2.5mm, covering steel grades from Q195 to Q420MC, meeting the high-end demands of automobile manufacturing and precision electronics. Its excellent bending and stamping performance makes it excel in lightweight structural parts such as automotive components, elevator panels, and pressure vessels, helping the manufacturing industry reduce costs and increase efficiency.

In the future, Baigong Steel will continue to focus on the research and development and production of high-performance steel, providing higher-quality overall solutions for national key project users and green transformation.
