Celebrating the Centenary of the Communist Party of China — The Company Solemnly Held a Special Flag-Raising Ceremony to Mark July 1st

On the morning of July 1, 2021, a grand ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the flag-raising ceremony was solemnly held in front of the company’s office building. Approximately 200 participants, including senior executives, middle-level managers, section chiefs and above, as well as all Party members, attended the event.

At 7:00 a.m., the company’s security team, acting as the national flag‑guard unit, escorted the national flag to the flagpole. General Manager Di issued the order to raise the flag, and to the stirring strains of the national anthem, the vibrant five‑star red flag slowly ascended, fluttering proudly in the breeze. All those present stood solemnly facing the flag. Following the flag‑raising ceremony, Comrade Qi Shaojiang, Secretary of the company’s Party branch, led all Party members in taking an oath before the national and Party flags. Reaffirming their vows ignited a fervent spirit and unwavering determination, kindling a deep sense of patriotism, devotion to the Party, and loyalty to the enterprise; a burning passion for selfless dedication, relentless progress, and lifelong striving was firmly rooted in their hearts.

The management representative, speaking on behalf of Ironworks Plant Director Liang Hongjun, stated: “We take pride in the strength of our motherland. We should strive to excel and advance our own endeavors; remain down-to-earth and pursue excellence without ceasing, continuously forging ahead toward new goals, and repay our country and the Party—and give back to our enterprise—with our very best achievements!”

General Manager Diling delivered an important address. He pointed out: Today, as we joyfully celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, it is worth recalling that the CPC is the world’s largest political party and the backbone of China. Under its leadership, the Chinese people have braved countless obstacles and surmounted innumerable challenges, enabling the People’s Republic of China to rise as the world’s foremost power. Over the past century, the CPC has weathered profound changes yet remains vibrant and full of vigor. A century after its inception, it returns still young at heart! With passion and boundless energy, the Party continues to lead the Chinese people forward on the path toward the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Never forget our original aspiration, and we will see things through to the end! Throughout its journey, Baigong Steel has weathered countless challenges, yet it has achieved numerous milestones and is steadily marching toward greater glory. Our Party members and cadres must exemplify leadership and set a high standard, serving as beacons and role models for the entire company. We must aspire to great heights while remaining grounded, courageously scaling the industry’s peaks, and fulfilling our goals and aspirations: to rank first in the sector for profit per ton of steel, labor productivity per employee, and average employee income. At the same time, this flag‑raising ceremony also serves as a rallying call and mobilization assembly. All our cadres and employees must unite as one, seize every opportunity presented by timing and policy windows, and devote ourselves wholeheartedly to two critical priorities: first, leveraging the company’s full resources to complete the environmental upgrade and achieve “A‑level” certification—this is the very foundation of our survival—and second, accelerating the implementation of transformation and upgrading projects.
