To mark the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and deepen our understanding of Party history, on June 17, 2021, Tangshan Baigong Industrial Development Co., Ltd. organized all its employees to visit the Li Dazhao Memorial Hall.
The Li Dazhao Memorial Hall serves as an exhibition and research center dedicated to the life and achievements of Comrade Li Dazhao. It is an important base for revolutionary tradition education, patriotic education, Party history education, and the cultivation of spiritual civilization, and has been designated by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee as one of the nation’s 100 patriotic education bases.
On December 30, 2016, it was included in the “National List of Classic Red Tourism Scenic Spots” released by the National Development and Reform Commission.
On the bus en route to the memorial hall, all employees jointly studied the life story of Comrade Li Dazhao, gaining insight into how he matured intellectually and embarked on the path of revolution. With a deeper understanding of Party history, they then sang together the revolutionary song “Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China.”
Upon arriving at the memorial hall, all staff members lined up neatly and began their visit. First, with deep reverence, they laid a floral basket before this great revolutionary pioneer and bowed in tribute. Afterwards, they followed the docent into the exhibition halls for a guided tour.
The memorial hall is divided into three exhibition halls, each dedicated to nine thematic sections, and presents the heroic deeds of Comrade Li Dazhao through a variety of formats. The precious artifacts on display and the historical records they document highlight, from multiple perspectives, the pivotal role Li Dazhao played as one of China’s earliest disseminators of Marxism in the founding of the Communist Party of China and throughout the course of the revolutionary struggle.
During the visit, by paying respects to Comrade Li Dazhao’s personal belongings and his works on display, participants deeply appreciated the arduous, extraordinary, and momentous course of his lifelong struggle—a magnificent chapter in the history of the Chinese revolution. They gained a profound understanding of the powerful spiritual strength forged throughout the Communist Party of China’s revolutionary journey and its path of nation‑building. Commemorating these revolutionary martyrs is not merely about upholding the revolutionary spirit; it also serves as a source of inspiration and guidance. As the backbone of society in the new era, we must emulate their selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to truth; draw from their heroic resolve to fight bravely and fear no sacrifice; and embrace their noble ethos—pursuing ideals, demonstrating loyalty and responsibility, serving the greater good, and upholding justice even at great personal cost.
Upon completing the visit, everyone gained invaluable insights and felt a profound sense of responsibility. They resolved to emulate the noble revolutionary spirit and admirable character of the older generation of revolutionaries, to inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions of China’s revolutionary history, and, in the context of the new era, to remain steadfast in their convictions, unite as one, stay true to their original aspirations, and keep their mission firmly in mind. They pledged to cultivate a correct worldview, outlook on life, and values; to step forward courageously, rise to challenges, fulfill their duties with dedication, strive for excellence, and continuously make fresh contributions to the company’s development, the progress of our times, and the prosperity of our motherland.
